Delete your account

How to ask

Send an e-mail from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my H2H account:

Or write to info@head2headsportspicks.com. We need the request to come from your account's e-mail address so that nobody can delete an account that isn't theirs; if you no longer have access to that address, say so and we will verify another way.

You can also reach this page from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in account (your e-mail address and password with our sign-in provider, Auth0).
Your name, display name, colour and e-mail address from our servers.
Every device and push-notification token registered to you, so no further alerts are sent.
Your notification and app settings.
Invitations you have sent that nobody has accepted yet, and any practice ("Solo") matches - those belong to you alone.
Images (GIFs, stickers) you sent in chat.

What stays, and why

A match is shared with the other player, and their season record is made of the games you both picked. So in matches you played with someone else, the picks and the text of the chat are kept, but they are no longer attached to you: your name is replaced by "Deleted player" and nothing on that record identifies you. If you would rather those matches were removed entirely, say so in your request and we will remove them too (the other player loses that history as well, so we will tell them).

This cannot be undone

Once deleted, your account, your seasons and your records are gone. Creating a new account later starts from zero.

How long it takes

We confirm your request by replying to your e-mail, then complete the deletion within 30 days - in practice usually within a few days. Copies in routine server backups age out within a further 30 days.
